Confused about iOS5 iMessage? Yeah, a lot of people are…

October 19th, 2011 - Apple, Thoughts & Rants

What I want to clear up today, is the confusion (at least for me and a few folks I know) regarding iMessage. iOS5 brings to it a new feature, the ability to give the carriers a ‘BIG F-YOU!’ when it comes to gauging users on ‘per-text-message’ options. Personally I don’t want to pay more than $5 bucks for texting, and I don’t think I should have to pay $20 per month for 160 characters each. My $5 is a 200 message plan, which is more than enough for me.

Jailbreaking Apple TV2 with greenpois0n RC6, Easy as umm Apple pie…

February 14th, 2011 - Apple, How To

I was very excited to notice that greenpois0n RC6 was released so that I could finally do an un-tethered jailbreak.  For those that don’t know the difference, a tethered jailbreak consists of having to attack the USB cable to your device on EVERY boot.  Which for the purpose of having a little Apple TV2 box […]

Disappointed with iPod Touch 4th generation camera

December 26th, 2010 - Apple, Thoughts & Rants

As you can guess I got an iPod 4th Generation for Christmas, Santa got me an upgrade from my 1st generation ipod touch (which was well needed). But after playing with it, and taking some photos I was quickly scratching my head. I was confused why a 5 MPX camera was constantly taking shitty photos, […]

Apple Nano Watches?

November 17th, 2010 - Apple, In the News, Thoughts & Rants

This is ultimately pretty cool, but very unusable as an every day piece.  I really like my watch for the simple fact that it is always reliable, I never have to worry about charging it, the battery dies once in a blue moon (every couple years), plus I don’t own a Nano, and if I […]
