iPhone 4s adding a PAUSE into a dialstring, making Skype calls easier for your mobile.

October 21st, 2011 - Apple, How To, Reviews, Thoughts & Rants

If you are like me and you might have some friends who have extension numbers, or simply use something like Skype local calling (a local number, that you can dial to call international using your skype account), you want to make sure that your cell phone supports complex dial strings. I keep all my contacts [...]

iPhone 4s battery problem. Possible quick solution to extend it?

October 20th, 2011 - Apple, Hardware, How To, In the News

I have been trying different settings, back and forth since I got the phone, and I really got good results by disabling the Location Services for the Reminders.

Confused about iOS5 iMessage? Yeah, a lot of people are…

October 19th, 2011 - Apple, Thoughts & Rants

What I want to clear up today, is the confusion (at least for me and a few folks I know) regarding iMessage. iOS5 brings to it a new feature, the ability to give the carriers a ‘BIG F-YOU!’ when it comes to gauging users on ‘per-text-message’ options. August 10th, 2011 - In the News, Thoughts & Rants

All the latest news about Tesla and electric cars, got me thinking. Every manufacturer seems to boast longer and longer ‘milage’ for their vehicles, but I never see any real statistics, its always ‘estimated’ miles, which shows like Top Gear have shown to be incorrect. Case in point, one of the things that nobody seems [...]

Aristo CSS3 Menu V2

April 22nd, 2011 - CSS, How To

I found this menu structure after falling in love with the jQueryUI Aristo theme.  A really slick and smooth theme that I personally find, works very well with all my jQueryUI projects.  Whenever styling buttons of widgets (calendar, sliders, etc;) I reach for Aristo UI. Anyway I found that this theme has also been crafted [...]
